2016 Craft Show

On  April 2nd, 2016, Donegal’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club members came together for the first annual Donegal craft show. The craft show was held at Donegal High School where over 60 vendors set up stands inside the school. Along with the various vendors, the club set up a concession stand where we provided food for customers and vendors. Many people from the Lancaster community attended the craft show where they were able to buy a variety of products sold from over the variety of vendors. Donegal’s FBLA spent over four months prior to the craft show by spreading the word through fliers and other advertisement throughout the community. The club members spent the entire night before to set up the high school for the craft show. During the craft show, club members helped run it by checking in with it’s vendors and running the concession stand. All of the club’s hard work throughout the year paid off in the end. The club successfully raised over $3,000 from its vendors and earning from concession! The purpose of the craft show was to raise money for FBLA’s state conference, where Donegal sends students to compete and learn more about the business world. After the 2016 Craft Show being such a success, the club plans to hold it again in April 2017!
