Donegal Students Qualify for FBLA Nationals

One of the many annual highlights for FBLA students at Donegal is the quest to compete at the state level.   Our club has been extremely successful in recent years as many students have earned competitive spots at the State Leadership Workshop.

This year, DHS FBLA sent 15 members to Hershey to compete against other high school students from throughout the state.  These students participated in business topic challenges covering approximately 60 subject areas ranging from Business Ethics to Marketing.

In each event, the Top 10 finalists are called on stage.  Of these finalists, the Top 3 place winners (in most cases) qualify to compete nationally.  During the most recent 5 years, Donegal has had several students place in the Top 10, with the highest earning a 4th place finish.

This year, our students proved that success is well within reach.  Rick Farmer placed 4th in Intro to Business and just missed a bid for nationals.

The Managment Decision Making Team of Derek Frantz, Jake Martin, and Mason Fox, also finished 4th, but due to extenuating circumstances, were bumped up to 3rd PLACE!!!!!!!

Donegal has its first National Qualifiers!!!!

The National Conference will be hosted in Nashville, TN this summer from June 27 - July 3.

Should you wish to contribute to help our qualifiers pay for the conference, please make checks payable to
